Inauguration of IEEE VTS Victorian Chapter

Invitation from IEEE VTS Victorian Chapter for two upcoming events
A new IEEE chapter has been recently formed, known as IEEE Vehicular Technology Society (VTS) Victorian Chapter. Two upcoming events are organised by this chapter during the Australian Automotive Week, on 15th March 2013.

The first one is the invited talk on Intelligent Transport Systems by Prof Alex Grant (from University of South Australia) on the topic “Vehicle to vehicle communication” [pdf]. This is then continued by the inaugural ceremony of the chapter [pdf].

This chapter has the support of many individuals, institutions, industries and organisations. Some of which include: IEEE USA, IEEE VTS, IEEE Victorian Section, ITS - Australia, AutoCRC, Swinburne University of Technology, Latrobe University, RMIT University, Deakin University. To celebrate its formation, several distinguished guest speakers from these organisations have agreed to join VTS and share their areas of interests, research and expertise.

These events are “Open to Public” and will be held in Swinburne University (Hawthorn Campus) on 15th March 2013, from 5 to 6pm (Guest speaker) and then 6 to 8pm (Chapter inauguration). For more information regarding the exact time and location, please refer to the attached flyers.
